Jamar Marquis Goff, the foster son of "Pioneer Woman" star Ree Drummond, was arrested this month in Birmingham, Alabama, and now faces charges including assault, drug possession and attempting to elude, according to local police records.

An officer responding to a report of a suspicious person on the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus found Goff, 23, asleep near a fountain; police say he allegedly told the officer he was waiting for someone to sell him methamphetamine before the encounter turned physical. Goff was booked into Jefferson County Jail. Drummond and her husband Ladd took Goff in as foster parents in 2018.
