Natalie Portman Welcomes Baby No. 3 — Her First With French Musician Boyfriend Tanguy Destable
The Oscar winner gave birth in Paris last month, adding a third child to the family she shares with two older kids from her marriage to Benjamin Millepied.
Natalie Portman is a mother of three. The Oscar-winning actress, 45, welcomed her first child with partner Tanguy Destable in Paris last month, according to TMZ, which first reported the birth Saturday. The baby's name and sex have not been made public.
The child joins Portman's two children from her marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millepied — son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9. Portman and Millepied divorced in 2024 after reports of infidelity.
A Private Romance, Now Public
Portman's relationship with Destable, a French music producer who performs under the stage name Tepr, was first reported by the French outlet Voici before People magazine confirmed the romance in March 2025. The couple has largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, with only occasional public sightings together in Paris.
Portman announced the pregnancy herself in an April 2026 interview with Harper's Bazaar, reflecting on becoming a parent again in her mid-40s.
TANGUY AND I ARE VERY EXCITED. I'M JUST VERY GRATEFUL. I KNOW IT'S SUCH A PRIVILEGE AND A MIRACLE.
She also joked about French pregnancy norms running a week longer than American ones: "In France, they consider full-term to be 41 weeks rather than 40, so I guess I get an extra week." Portman has largely split her time between Paris and Los Angeles in recent years, most recently working on French-language film projects.
Representatives for Portman did not immediately respond to requests for further comment on the birth.
