Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are parents of two. The "Stranger Things" star, 22, and her husband, 24, announced on Instagram Wednesday that they have welcomed a second child, a baby boy, through adoption — just over a year after adopting their first child, a daughter, in the summer of 2025.

Brown shared a photo of the newborn's hand gripped around her finger, captioning the post simply: "hi little guy!" She also marked the moment by adding a "Mom" ring from jewelry designer Isa Grutman to her collection, according to E! News. Eagle-eyed fans had already picked up hints earlier this month, after Brown posted footage from a trip to the Dolomites showing her carrying an infant while Bongiovi wore a baby carrier.

A Second Adoption, Announced With Privacy in Mind

The couple, who married in spring 2024 after confirming their relationship in November 2021 and getting engaged in 2023, kept both adoptions largely private. When they announced their first child's arrival last year, they wrote: "This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy," signing off with, "And there were 3," per TODAY.com.

"ADOPTION WAS ALWAYS A PART OF MY FUTURE. ADOPTION IS LOVE. ADOPTION IS FOREVER."

That sentiment, which Brown has voiced in past interviews, traces back further than her marriage. Describing the call confirming their first adoption, she said: "I will never forget it. It was the most surreal feeling and yet we both knew in that moment that we had found each other," according to CNN.

Brown has also explained why she and Bongiovi have chosen not to document these milestones for social media in real time. "My whole life's recorded ... that shouldn't be recorded. It's almost like you had to be there," she has said, underscoring the couple's consistent effort to keep the growth of their family largely shielded from public view even as they occasionally share glimpses with fans.

Reaction across entertainment outlets and social media was warm and celebratory, with many fans and fellow celebrities responding to the Instagram post with congratulations. Neither Brown nor Bongiovi has revealed the baby's name or additional details about the adoption process, consistent with how they handled their first child's arrival.

Brown remains attached to the upcoming fifth and final season of "Stranger Things," which is expected to arrive later this year, alongside other film projects. For now, the couple appears focused on settling into life as a family of four, with no indication of any public appearances or statements planned beyond the initial announcement.
