The bold, body-molded look — paired with a dramatic new hairstyle — instantly split reaction online. Some fans called it fashion-forward and "iconic," with one commenter on Rinna's Instagram writing she'd "won" the red carpet outright, per Yahoo Entertainment. Others were far more critical of just how revealing the design was, with plenty of pointed commentary flooding her comments section.

Rinna, 63, told reporters on the carpet that she'd come out specifically to support Madonna, who headlined the night's performances — marking Rinna's first-ever appearance at the VMAs despite decades in the public eye.
