Jimmy Buffett's Kids Grilled Over Mom's Alleged Drug Use in $275M Estate Fight
Cameron and Sarah Delaney Buffett were pressed for documents about mother Jane's alleged ketamine and marijuana use as the fight over their late father's fortune turns personal.
The legal battle over Jimmy Buffett's estate has taken an ugly turn, with the late "Margaritaville" singer's adult children, Cameron and Sarah Delaney Buffett, questioned during discovery about their mother Jane Buffett's alleged use of ketamine and marijuana, according to TMZ.
The pointed questions came from Richard Mozenter, Buffett's former financial advisor and now a co-trustee locked in a dispute with Jane over control of the singer's estate, estimated at $275 million. Court filings show Cameron and Delaney were asked to hand over any communications about their mother's prescription or non-prescription drug use dating back to August 2023. The Buffett children have pushed back, calling the requests overreaching and "harassing."
The fight stems from a lawsuit Jane filed against Mozenter in mid-2025 accusing him of withholding key financial disclosures since Jimmy's 2023 death. Two years on, the family drama shows no sign of settling.
