Playing a Bleachers show at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on September 15, the 42-year-old producer and frontman was met with a shouted request for "Let's Get Married," the 2017 track he'd played at his own wedding to Qualley two years ago. Antonoff didn't miss a beat. "Absolutely not," he told the crowd, laughing, before adding a line that immediately went viral: "Read the news, brother."

According to TMZ, Antonoff quickly softened the moment, telling fans he still loves the song and pointing out he wrote it roughly 11 years ago — long before he and Qualley started dating in 2021.
