Fifteen years after Entourage wrapped, its cast is airing out the drama the cameras never caught. Debi Mazar, who played publicist Shauna Roberts for all eight seasons, told the Times of London that the HBO hit's set curdled from fun to hostile — and that having a baby mid-run made it worse.

"Season one was a joy-fest," Mazar said. "But in the third season, the set was a testosterone-fueled environment." She added: "I'm tough, but it got toxic towards the end for me. And I'd had my second baby and they didn't like that I got fat, even though I got skinny again."

Creator Doug Ellin wasn't having it. He took to X on September 1 with a blunt rebuttal, calling the claim "disgusting" and insisting nobody on the show ever discussed Mazar's postpartum body. "My thoughts is this is disgusting," Ellin wrote, per a report on the exchange. "Never, ever did myself or anyone that matters care or discuss Debi Mazar's body. I would one million percent embrace any woman who got pregnant."

He Just Body-Shamed the Guys Instead

Here's the twist: Ellin didn't deny that bodies got scrutinized on set — just whose. "The only bodies on the show I ever commented on were Adrian's (I wanted him more muscular) and @jerryferrara who I wanted fatter," he wrote, referring to co-stars Adrian Grenier and Jerry Ferrara. He said he now regrets those remarks, adding he didn't grasp "the health implications at the time." Ellin also disputed Mazar's "toxic" characterization of the broader set, insisting "99 percent of the women who were on it" remain close friends of his to this day.

Mazar had her second child in 2006, during Entourage's run on HBO from 2004 to 2011 — a stretch that turned the show, and its cast, into some of the decade's most talked-about pop-culture fixtures. Mazar's account is part of a wave of former sitcom and drama stars re-examining how network and cable sets treated pregnant and postpartum women during that era, a conversation that has gained steam across Hollywood in recent years.

Neither Grenier nor Ferrara has publicly weighed in on Ellin's comments about their own bodies, and Mazar has not responded to Ellin's denial. With an Entourage revival occasionally rumored but never confirmed, the sudden public spat is a reminder of how unresolved the show's on-set culture remains for at least one member of its original cast.
