Pinch Me: Ariana Madix Trades Reality TV Drama for Broadway Glam as 60s Icon Connie Francis
The "Vanderpump Rules" star is heading back to Broadway, joining the hit musical "Just in Time" as singer Connie Francis for a limited fall run.

Ariana Madix is swapping reality-TV chaos for the bright lights of Broadway. The "Vanderpump Rules" alum will join the hit Bobby Darin bio-musical "Just in Time" at Circle in the Square Theatre, stepping into the role of 1960s pop icon Connie Francis opposite Jeremy Jordan's Bobby Darin, for a limited engagement running September 12 through November 22.
The show, directed by Tony winner Alex Timbers, opened in April 2025 and became the only musical of the 2024-25 Broadway season to recoup its full $12.5 million capitalization — making Madix's casting a genuine coup for a production that's already proven it can sell tickets. "It's a pinch me moment to be able to come home to the Broadway stage and all I could have ever hoped for," Madix said in a statement reported by BroadwayWorld. "I am beyond excited to work with the legends behind Just in Time and to entertain audiences at one of my favorite theaters in the city!"
A Career Full Circle
This marks Madix's first Broadway return since an earlier stint in "Chicago," and it lands at a high point in her post-"Vanderpump" career: she recently picked up an Emmy nomination for her work on "Love Island USA," giving the casting news extra momentum beyond the usual reality-star-does-theater headline, according to Playbill's report.
IT'S A PINCH ME MOMENT TO COME HOME TO THE BROADWAY STAGE
Madix built her post-reality-TV brand on a string of high-visibility projects since her very public split from Tom Sandoval during the "Scandoval" saga, including a Broadway "Chicago" run, hosting gigs, and now a leading musical role playing one of the biggest pop stars of the pre-Beatles era.
"Just in Time" producers have not announced who will step into the Connie Francis role after Madix's engagement wraps in late November, though the show's track record suggests they won't have trouble finding another high-profile replacement. Tickets for Madix's run go on sale in the coming weeks.
