Powerball Jackpot Soars to $793 Million Ahead of Tonight's Drawing
No one matched all six numbers in Saturday's drawing, pushing the prize to the ninth-largest in Powerball history as players line up for tonight's shot.
The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $793 million (cash value: $339.9 million) for Monday night's drawing after no ticket matched all the numbers in Saturday's draw. Saturday's winning numbers were 2, 4, 18, 50 and 56, with a Powerball of 20 — but while nobody hit the jackpot, several players came close.
A Match-5-plus-Power-Play ticket sold in North Carolina won $2 million, and two separate Match 5 tickets — one in Georgia, one in the United Kingdom — each won $1 million.
Monday's drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. ET. Players in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands are eligible to play, with tickets available up until shortly before the drawing in most jurisdictions.
