Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly are showing zero signs of cooling things off. The pair spent a full day and night together on Friday, leaving a Los Angeles recording studio together in the morning and then the Chateau Marmont together around 11:30 p.m., according to TMZ.

It's the latest in a string of sightings dating back to mid-October, when photos obtained by Page Six showed Johnson, 37, waiting outside the same studio for Kelly (real name Colson Baker), 36, before the two left together — with his car still parked outside her home the next morning. That outing followed a reported evening at the Hollywood speakeasy Say Yes.

Where It Started

The rumors trace back to September, when Johnson and Kelly were seen arriving together at Taylor Swift's Tribeca apartment in New York, reportedly while Swift was out of town, before having dinner at Estela. Some reports suggest the two grew close at Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce over the summer.

Johnson has mostly deflected questions about her love life rather than confirm or deny anything specific. In a recent Vogue interview, asked if she could ever have dinner with a man without it spawning a rumor, she said simply, "I also don't care," adding that correcting the gossip is pointless because "people are gonna believe what they wanna believe."

Both Johnson and Kelly come out of recent breakups. Johnson ended an eight-year relationship with Coldplay's Chris Martin in mid-2025 and later dated musician Role Model (Tucker Pillsbury) before that relationship also ended this year. Kelly split from actress Megan Fox, his former fiancée and the mother of his young daughter, in late 2024. TMZ reports sources close to Fox say she's "not bothered" by the new romance buzz and that she and Kelly now communicate strictly about co-parenting.

Neither Johnson nor Kelly has confirmed they're an item, and both have so far kept the relationship status officially unlabeled even as the sightings pile up. With no public confirmation and no denial, expect the paparazzi sightings — and the speculation — to keep building heading into award-season red carpets this winter.
