Woman trying to escape from a date, had the worst ending

Some people are not so lucky. Bad dates often have a terrible ending. Whether it’s an Irish night out or a really bad sex, it leaves you wondering, “Why I cant meet a normal one?” Unfortunately, for a woman was probably the worst date of all time, and it ended tragically.

A 26-year-old woman from New Zealand, Warriena Wright, was in Queensland, Australia, for two weeks on vacation to attend a friend’s wedding. There he joined 30-year-old Gable Tostee through the “Tinder” application, and after a conversation they had, they finally arranged a meeting. The date ended tragically as the woman fell 14 floors from his balcony and died.

The two of the had alot of drinks in the man’s apartment when suddenly they had  a fight. It is speculated that Wright went to the edge of the balcony to escape Tostee after threatening her. A recording of Tostee’s phone call seems to have caught those words from him:

“You are lucky I haven’t chucked you off my balcony. if you try to pull anything I’ll knock you out. ”

Nick Casey, a neighbor two floors down, said he heard the fight. He heard Wright saying “no” several times, and he also heard her begging to go home. “It was not long before falling down while I was standing on the balcony, and being ostracized on some balconies below,” he said.

It is said that a fight broke out between the two of them when Wright threw a decorative rock on him and hit him with a telescope. Tostee also allegedly went to choke and hold Wright before locking her out at the balcony.

Tostee now faces life imprisonment. He did not confess his guilt about Wright’s murder. His advocate, Saul Holt, said Wright was becoming increasingly unstable and aggressive to Tostee after drinking alcohol. He claimed: “What happened in this case is not murder or manslaughter.”

The case is still in progress and has gained international attention. In one of the recordings of that evening, Tostee says: “You meet some very strange people at Tinder.”
