Three students died at a shooting in Aztec High School, New Mexico

Three students died at a shooting at a high school in New Mexico. Except the three student also the gunman died. The authorities of San Juaan County’ Sheriff’s Office said that the unknown shooter was also killed but they did not give any more informations.

Ken Christesen Sheriff of San Juan said at the reporters at the press conference that took place this morning that three people diede and its believed that they were students of the Aztec high school. The school has a number of 1000 students is near Navajo Nationin the Four Corners region.

15 other students were injured from the shooter according to a statement of Navajo Office of the president. From the other hand New Mexico police have denied this informations about the 15 injured students by writting in a tweet: “no other injuries reported”.

‘It’s tragic when our children are harmed in violent ways especially on school campuses. We express our condolences to those families who have been harmed,” President Russell Begaye said. ‘Our prayers go out to all those affected by this tragedy and everyone throughout San Juan County. We are asking for prayers for these families.’

Police reported that the scool was locked down and evacuated, also other schools in the area were locked down.
