Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman has become nearly as big a storyline as the tennis itself while cheering on boyfriend Ben Shelton's US Open run. Rodman was in Shelton's box for his five-set upset of defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, and has been photographed at Arthur Ashe Stadium wearing a shirt reading "I ❤️ my boyfriend," according to Yahoo Sports.

After Shelton advanced past an earlier round, Rodman broke into a celebratory dance in the stands; following the Alcaraz win, Shelton aimed his signature phone-call celebration directly at her seat, per Sportskeeda. Rodman splits her time between New York and her NWSL schedule, but has made it back for several of Shelton's biggest matches this tournament.
