Jordan Love was too much for the Dallas Cowboys to handle on Sunday night, throwing a touchdown pass and rushing for another as the Green Bay Packers beat Dallas 23-13 at Lambeau Field, improving to 4-2 while dropping the Cowboys to 2-4 heading into their bye week.

Love connected with receiver Matthew Golden on a 9-yard touchdown in the first quarter, then punched one in himself from a yard out before halftime to put Green Bay up 17-0. Golden, Green Bay's 2025 first-round pick now starting outside, finished with six catches for 104 yards, continuing the breakout Fox Sports' box score shows he's been building all season.

Rookie kicker Trey Smack, Green Bay's sixth-round pick out of Florida, made all three of his field-goal attempts, adding to what's turned into a surprisingly steady leg for a team that cut veteran Brandon McManus over the summer.

Dallas Fights Back Late, Falls Short

Dak Prescott set season highs with 54 pass attempts and 34 completions, dragging Dallas back into the game with a late scoring drive capped by a 6-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Flournoy with 44 seconds left. But the two-point conversion attempt to cut the deficit to single digits failed, and Green Bay ran out the clock, per Legion Report's live game tracker.

"THE GUYS IN THE LOCKER ROOM ARE WIRED THE RIGHT WAY," PACKERS COACH MATT LAFLEUR SAID AFTER THE WIN.

Javonte Williams scored Dallas's other touchdown on a 1-yard run in the third quarter, but the Cowboys never led and managed just 48 rushing yards as a team. Green Bay's defense forced two turnovers and controlled the clock for nearly 31 minutes, methodically grinding down a Dallas offense that had no answer once it fell behind.

The loss is Dallas's second straight and extends a rough October for a team that entered the year with Super Bowl ambitions. For Green Bay, it's a fourth win in six games and another data point suggesting Love has taken a real step forward in his fourth full season as the starter — a storyline that will only get louder as the Packers push toward the back half of the schedule.
