Aaron Rodgers is facing blowback over unusually candid comments about his past relationships, and now one of his exes has clapped back. On a September 10 episode of the "Not Just Football" podcast, the Steelers quarterback said former fiancée Shailene Woodley once asked for permission to cheat, and described ex-girlfriend Danica Patrick as "not fun to be around" after her racing retirement.

The remarks went viral, and on September 21, Mallory Edens — who briefly dated Rodgers in 2022 and now produces the upcoming film Charlie Harper — posted a pointed response on Instagram without naming him. "My ex is currently on a press tour talking about how he never loved anyone he dated after 2017," she wrote, adding that she's "also on a press tour, for a movie inspired about how down bad I was."

Edens capped it off calling it a "really exciting time for competing narratives," a line that quickly spread across sports and entertainment social accounts.
