After Apple, Google has come to announce the ban on mining applications from the Google Play store in an effort to protect user’s devices from damage caused by mining of cryptos.
As Google says in the revised Google Play Store Terms and Conditions,
“We do not allow apps to mine cryptos through Android devices, but we will allow apps that help manage the mining process from other devices”
The ban is particularly important and should have been done for quite some time. Since the Bitcoin Big Launch period, many people have turned to crypto-mining without having the slightest idea of what is happening or falling victim to malicious applications and cryptomining code unknowingly.
At the very least, with the ban Google will protect mobile devices from natural wear and tear …
