The first two photos of the new Hyundai Santa Fe were released, as for the rear view, we still rely on the sketch of the past few days. According to one of them (the other reveals its interior), the Korean SUV adopts a daring exterior, as has happened with Kona.
A few days ago, Hyundai Motor has released two teaser photos that revealed the first version of the new upcoming Santa Fe, presenting a luxurious and impressive SUV design based on its powerful, stylish and bulky composition that reflects the new design identity SUV from Hyundai.
The exterior is characterized by the new front part of the new Santa Fe incorporating the large grille, accompanied by a separate headlamp system featuring separate daytime running lights (DRLs) and main light bulbs combining to create a unique futuristic look.
The lateral appearance shows the dynamic characteristics of the vehicle. A simple but elegant roof line and a line on the side that starts from the headlights and ends at the rear lights together combines a very harmonious look and feel. The rear is dynamically projected, giving a sense of self-confidence and robustness with a distinctive tailgate and bumper design.
A reference point in the new Santa Fe, beyond its 7-seat and 5-seater versions, will be the safety systems that will be equipped with the Korean SUV’s “big” SUV that remains virtually unchanged from 2012 until today. Under the umbrella of the Smart Sense “security grid”, the new Sante Fe electronic safety goods will include the automatic braking system even when the car is moving backwards.
The standard equipment will include the Rear Occupant Alert, which will be able to alert the driver leaving the car that he has … forgotten one or more passengers in his rear seat. At present, there is no clear indication of Hyundai’s choice of engines. However the company will offer mechanical units that will run on gasoline or diesel, combined with the front or rear wheel drive.
