Israeli police, after two years of research, found evidence and arrested the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of corruption in two cases, reported several Israeli media.

The decision on whether to prosecute the Israeli Prime Minister was made by the Advocate-General.

Justice Minister Ayelet Sakent has stated that the prime minister is not obliged to resign from his post, even if he is officially prosecuted.

Netanyahu, who denies having committed any offense, has filed several times since the beginning of 2017 for two different cases involving bribery offense.
