"Yellowjackets" is finally coming out of the woods. Paramount+ announced on Thursday that the fourth and final season of its cult survival-horror drama will premiere Friday, November 20, exclusively for subscribers on the service's Premium plan (formerly the Showtime tier). The news arrived with a first teaser built to look like a bank of static-crackling 1990s television sets, according to TVLine.

The teaser opens with a fictional anchor cutting in with "breaking news: the Wiskayok Yellowjackets have been found," before switching to a segment fronted by real-life former MTV News anchor Kurt Loder, who briefs viewers on search-and-rescue teams combing the Canadian wilderness — a wink to the show's central mystery about the 1996 plane crash that stranded the girls' soccer team, as first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
