"Coyote vs. Acme" — the live-action/animated hybrid Warner Bros. famously shelved in late 2023 before Ketchup Entertainment rescued it — opens nationwide today after stars John Cena, Will Forte and Lana Condor celebrated at Wednesday's Los Angeles premiere. Director Dave Green and co-stars Kenneth Choi and Kunal Nayyar also walked the carpet at the Westwood Village Theater.

The film has drawn strong reviews, with Forte previously describing its near-death journey to theaters as feeling like being "gaslit," per The Hollywood Reporter's interview with the cast. The release caps an online fan campaign that helped reverse the studio's original shelving decision.
