Taylor Swift gave fewer than 200 fans an intimate blast from the Eras Tour past this week, capping a rare sit-down at the Grammy Museum with a surprise six-minute piano mashup of three of her most beloved songs, according to Variety.

The event, billed as "The Icon Sessions with Taylor Swift: A 20-Year Retrospective" and presented by the Recording Academy's Songwriters & Composers Wing, featured Swift in conversation with Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. inside the museum's intimate Clive Davis Theater. Video from the session was released online this week, per Billboard.

Swift discussed her Nashville roots and songwriting process, including how "I Knew You Were Trouble" began life as a "really sad ballad" before producers Max Martin and Shellback pushed her toward its now-iconic dubstep breakdown. She closed the conversation by sitting at the same piano she toured around the world on the Eras Tour, blending "I Knew It, I Knew You," "August" and "All Too Well" into a single six-minute performance.
