Survivor Star Makes Big Brother History With Shock Win
Two-time "Survivor" competitor Rick Devens became the first person to win both "Survivor" and "Big Brother" after topping the live Season 28 finale.
"Big Brother" crowned a historic champion Thursday night. Rick Devens, a two-time "Survivor" veteran, beat finalist Taylor Brown in the jury vote to walk away with the $750,000 grand prize, becoming the first competitor in franchise history to win both shows.
Devens dominated the back half of the season, racking up multiple Head of Household and Veto wins before cutting his closest ally, Drew Campbell, on the way to the finale stage.
He addressed the backstab the morning after on "CBS Mornings," joking he's "not the Sisyphus of reality TV" — and said his kids were initially "ticked off" at how he played the game.
