Prime Video has canceled "Spider-Noir" after a single season, just over three months after the Nicolas Cage-led series debuted in May, according to Deadline. The show marked Cage's first-ever regular television role and drew a 92% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes along with 11 Emmy nominations.

Despite the acclaim, the show's modest viewership couldn't offset its lavish production costs — the series famously shot both color and black-and-white versions of every episode. TVLine reports Amazon is still developing other series in the Sony Marvel universe despite pulling the plug on this one.
