Shivon Zilis, the Neuralink executive and mother of four of Elon Musk's children, announced on X that the billionaire abruptly cut things off after years together.

"It's hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that's just how it is sometimes," Zilis wrote, posting what she said was one of their final text exchanges — reportedly sent just days after Musk had told her he loved her.

Zilis said she and Musk will continue co-parenting their children and asked for privacy as she processes the split, which has stunned fans given how recently the pair appeared to be on good terms.
