Miley Cyrus Drops Her Last Name, Announces 10th Album 'Bass Persuades' and First U.S. Shows Since 2021
The star is going by just "Miley" for her new era, out September 18 with two Hollywood Bowl nights to follow.
Miley Cyrus kicked off a new chapter this week — literally shedding her surname on social media as she unveiled her 10th studio album, "Bass Persuades," due September 18 on Atlantic Records. It's her first release under the new label and the follow-up to 2025's "Something Beautiful."
The gritty, guitar-driven title track is out now as the lead single, with features from Model/Actriz and Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt rounding out the 10-track list. Cyrus also announced two shows at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18 — her first full U.S. concerts since 2021.
