Lil Jon says a cousin's ancestry DNA test revealed that Willie, the man who raised him, was not his biological father — a discovery the rapper and producer says has been "hard to process."

The revelation surfaced after a cousin took an at-home DNA test to explore the family's roots and shared the results, showing relationships that didn't match what Lil Jon had always understood about his father's side of the family, according to IBTimes UK. He detailed the discovery in his new memoir, "I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me."

Complicating any further answers: both Willie, who died of bone marrow cancer in the early 2000s, and Lil Jon's mother, Carrie, who died in 2013, are no longer alive to discuss it. Lil Jon has said relatives on his biological father's side have since reached out to connect.
