Katie Holmes Goes Instagram Official With Artist Boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky
The actress's first public relationship since 2022 became official Thursday when her boyfriend shared a sweet photo of the couple — and Holmes made sure everyone saw it.
Katie Holmes and artist Jason Bard Yarmosky made their relationship Instagram official on Thursday, months after they were first spotted together, with Yarmosky sharing an affectionate photo of the couple to his profile.
Holmes left no doubt the post was accurate, resharing it to her own Instagram story at the same time Yarmosky posted it — a coordinated move fans and outlets read as a deliberate, unambiguous confirmation of the relationship rather than a soft launch.
A Summer of Going Public
The couple first stepped out together in public last month at a screening of "The Invite" in the Hamptons on July 10, and made their red-carpet debut as a couple weeks later at the 2026 Guild Hall Summer Gala. Sources close to Holmes say the pair met at a dinner earlier this summer and that the actress has been drawn to Yarmosky's creativity.
HER FIRST PUBLIC RELATIONSHIP SINCE 2022.
Yarmosky, a painter known for his figurative work, has kept a lower public profile than Holmes, who has been a fixture of tabloid coverage since her marriage to and divorce from Tom Cruise. Holmes was previously and briefly linked to musician Bobby Wooten III in 2022, but Thursday's Instagram exchange marks her most public relationship confirmation since then.
Neither Holmes nor Yarmosky has commented beyond the social media posts themselves, and representatives for the actress did not respond to requests for further comment.
What's next: With the relationship now confirmed, entertainment outlets expect the couple to make further joint public appearances in the coming weeks as Holmes continues promoting her recent film work.
