An LA Superior Court judge has denied Ray J's motion to dismiss a defamation suit brought by Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, over claims he made to a news outlet and on a Twitch stream that the pair were under investigation for racketeering.

The court wrote that "a reasonable person would be offended by a false accusation that they had committed a crime," according to TMZ. Ray J's attorney, Howard King, has said the team plans to appeal the ruling. A trial date has been discussed but not finalized in public reporting, per AOL.
