Suspect Trey Mendel allegedly stole a staffer's car and drove it around the neighborhood before a security guard flagged deputies, leading to his arrest.

Mendel faces felony charges, with bail set at $75,000; a judge has also ordered a mental competency evaluation, per E! News. It's the first successful break-in at the property, which has been targeted three times since 2022.
