Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are mourning the death of Betty, the 18-year-old dog who had been part of Shelton's life for nearly two decades. Stefani shared the news in an emotional Instagram post Saturday, writing, "It's with the heaviest hearts that we share our sweet Betty has gone to heaven... She made us all smile for 18 years... we're going to miss her forever," according to TMZ's report on the tribute.

The post included a montage of Betty with the couple and Shelton's youngest son, Apollo, 12, set to their 2020 duet "Nobody But You." Betty was a familiar face to fans well before that, having appeared alongside the couple in the music video for their 2019 hit duet of the same name, per E! News's coverage. Stefani and Shelton, who married in 2021, split their time between Shelton's sprawling Oklahoma ranch, where Betty spent most of her life.
