Elon Musk is pushing back hard after Ashley St. Clair, who shares a child with him, said she rejected a $40 million non-disclosure agreement he allegedly offered her. St. Clair told reporters at a Venice Film Festival press event on September 8 that the deal would have paid $15 million upfront plus $100,000 a month for 21 years — roughly $40.2 million total — but that she turned it down so she could keep speaking publicly about their relationship, including sitting for an interview in the Alex Gibney documentary "Musk," according to HollywoodLife.

Musk fired back directly, telling TMZ she was "never offered" any such deal and accusing her of a pattern of "false claims." Neither side has produced documentation of the alleged offer.
