Christina Applegate revealed on her podcast "MeSsy," co-hosted with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, that a doctor recently told her she was misdiagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the autoimmune disorder she has publicly lived with since 2021. "Congratulations, you don't have MS," she said the doctor told her — news she described as leaving her "back at square one," since she still has symptoms consistent with the disease.

"I feel like I let everybody down," Applegate said, but added she intends to remain an advocate regardless of the diagnosis: "I'm going to still be an MS warrior no matter what because of championing for the people that I love." She said she is now beginning a new search with her doctors to understand what is actually causing her symptoms.
