Paris got a dose of old-Hollywood glamour this week as Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie stepped in front of the cameras for the long-awaited Ocean's Eleven prequel — and this time, they're playing the parents of the franchise's most famous con man.

Cooper and fellow cast member Monica Barbaro were first spotted filming on the streets of Paris on Tuesday, August 18, with Robbie arriving on set later that day, reportedly trying to dodge photographers under a white lace dress and umbrella. By Wednesday, August 19, the two stars were photographed walking a Paris block together in character — Robbie in a cream mini-dress and black hat, Cooper in a light-blue polo — for a movie built around Danny Ocean's origin story, according to Just Jared.

A Heist Origin Story Set at the Monaco Grand Prix

The untitled prequel, slated for release on June 25, 2027, is set in the 1960s and centers on the high-stakes heist that first brought Danny Ocean's parents together against the backdrop of the Monaco Grand Prix. Cooper isn't just starring — he's directing, producing and wrote the screenplay, marking one of his most ambitious behind-the-camera swings yet.

The ensemble filling out the crew is stacked: Robbie co-stars opposite Cooper, with Monica Barbaro, Omar Sy, Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Jack Holden, Lauren Ridloff and Josh Gad rounding out the cast. Wagner Moura is set to play the film's villain, according to ComingSoon.net, which also confirmed the film's Paris production leg this week.

To be clear: despite headlines framing Cooper and Robbie as "linking up as a couple," the pairing is strictly on-screen — the two are playing Danny Ocean's mother and father, not announcing a real-life romance. Both stars have kept the production largely under wraps since shooting began, with these Paris street scenes among the first substantial looks at the film in action, following earlier set photos from Tuesday's shoot.

With the original Ocean's Eleven having grossed hundreds of millions and spawned two sequels, expectations for this prequel are sky-high — and if the Paris shoot is any indication, Cooper is leaning hard into 1960s glamour to sell the origin story of cinema's smoothest crime family.
