Blue Ivy Stuns Crowd With Surprise Piano Solo at Dad Jay-Z's SoFi Stadium Show
The 14-year-old joined Jay-Z onstage for two songs on his "Jay-Z 30" anniversary tour, with mom Beyoncé watching from a suite.
Blue Ivy Carter brought the house down at SoFi Stadium on October 23, taking a seat behind the keyboard to join her father Jay-Z's band during the Inglewood stop of his "Jay-Z 30" anniversary run, according to HollywoodLife. Footage of the 14-year-old playing on "The Story of O.J." and "Dead Presidents" quickly circulated after Variety posted video of the moment.
Beyoncé watched from a suite alongside former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams as the crowd roared for Blue Ivy's cameo. DJ Khaled and John Legend also joined Jay-Z onstage that night, closing the show with "God Did."
It wasn't Blue Ivy's first time sharing a stage with her father this year — she played piano on "Feelin' It" when the tour opened at Yankee Stadium in July — and she's danced alongside Beyoncé on both the Renaissance and Cowboy Carter world tours.
