Raquell Brown has filed for divorce from "Alaskan Bush People" star Gabe Brown, TMZ reported Tuesday, formalizing a split the couple confirmed over the summer. The filing, submitted September 22, cites an "irretrievable breakdown" of the marriage after seven years together.

Brown and Raquell, who were introduced by Gabe's sister and "Alaskan Bush People" castmate Rain Brown, began dating in 2018 and married the following year, first in a private ceremony and later in a larger wedding filmed for the Discovery reality series. The couple share three children.

The two first announced they were separating back in a July TMZ report, with people close to the family describing financial strain and Raquell feeling that Gabe often prioritized his large extended family over their own household. Tuesday's filing makes the split official and moves the case into family court.

Neither Gabe nor Raquell has publicly commented beyond confirming the filing. "Alaskan Bush People" has aired on Discovery Channel since 2014, following the Brown family's off-grid lifestyle in Alaska and, more recently, Washington state.
