100,000 tourists are expected to turn out at the Royal wedding

Prince Harry’s marriage to Megan Markl on May 19th is expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors around Windsor Castle where the wedding ceremony will be held, according to the police in the Thames Valley district.

“This national ceremony will attract more than 100,000 people from around the world to Windsor,” the police said in a press release, adding safety measures will be taken as a consequence.

Among these, it is foreseen that the car plates will be scanned and railings will be installed. Visitors will also be physically searched while police will patrol roads, train stations and trains.

“Any object that could pose a danger to citizens will be seized,” police said.
