Ovarian, colorectal and breast cancer is the most common inherited cancers. In particular among inherited cancers, the percentage of ovarian cancer is between 15 and 25%, followed by 10% and breast cancer by 5-10%. However, hereditary cancer is a small subset of all malignancies and its percentage is modified depending on the type of malignancy. In the context of investigating cancer inheritance, over the past five years, multi-gene tests have been developed that control 10-400 genes for mutations predisposing to one or many types of malignancies.
