The first quantum computer for commercial use

IBM introduced the world’s first quantum computer designed for commercial use. It is called IBM Q System One and is currently not for sale, but will allow customers to use it on the Internet to perform quantum calculations.

The computer has 20 quantum bits (qubits), although most IT experts agree that a quantum computer actually superior to conventional quantum computers should have at least 50 quantum bits according to RES-EBA.

In 2016 IBM presented a quantum computing system with five qubits that it had available for online experimentation, but the new qubits system is the first to be created for purely commercial purposes.
