Faced with an unprecedented spectacle, residents were found in the Tsukotka region of Russia, as it was washed by the sea a snake-monster with a length of 20 meters.
The locals who found it were astonished, while the experts who examined it spoke of a species with unknown properties.
The snake has a large head and a long black body. It’s an unknown species for scientists, as there were some descriptions from other regions, but there was no specimen to look at its physiology and to be broken down at least into some class.
Scientists know its existence and have named it Nereocystis luetkeana. Of the minimal knowledge available for this species, it is that it can reach even 25 meters in length.
Most reports of its existence have been made from the Pacific Ocean. This is the first time it encounters the Russian frozen seas.
