Simultaneous flight for 1,374 Chinese drones

The Guinness World Record for the largest number of unmanned drones that were thrown at the same time was awarded to the Chinese company EHang, which lifted 1,374 illuminated drones in the air, which flew for 13 minutes, spread over an area of about one kilometer.

The spectacular show took place in Shaan, according to the BBC, but – despite the spectacle – there was a bitter taste for the organizers as they had planned the drones to synchronize to specific flight motifs that could not be done.

EHang is known, among other things, for its effort to create the first drones transport service. The previous record was held by the US technology company Intel, which had fired 1,218 drones at the Korean Olympic Games in February.
