Renault F1 2017 unveiled

Renault has presented in London the F1 for the new season of Formula 1 with both drivers, Nico Hülkenberg and Tzolion Palmer, to make the unveiling of the car codenamed RS17, which Renault is aiming to win the fifth position in the constructors’ championship.

Renault, which celebrated the 2005-06 titles in drivers (with Fernando Alonso) and manufacturers, returned in 2016 in Formula 1 as a constructor, after the acquisition of the Lotus team.
The tan car is the second car produced after returning to Renault in the Formula 1 races as a factory team, but the first for which the company has overseen the entire design process.
The group, whose main factory is in England, but the other one for engines in France, invested heavily in the past year to increase the number of employees and infrastructure in order to return to the top 2020.

People of French team hope the R.S.17 will help to improve significantly compared to the ninth position occupied in last year’s constructors’ championship, when Palmer and his old “mate”  Kevin Magknousen gathered eight points.
Magknousen left Renault bound for Haas and the gap was filled with the experienced Choulkenmpergk from Force India.
During the presentation was announced the four times world champion of Formula 1, Alain Prost, in a position of special adviser group. Also, at the presentation became known that Sergey Sirotkin will be the third (alternate) driver at Renault for 2017
