A man who has admitted of raping and murdering a six-year-old girl more than 30 years ago was brutally assaulted during his temporary detention at Preston Prison Outside of Melbourne. Prisoners threw boiling water at the testicles of the 74-year-old pedophile.
The crime against the girl was committed more than 30 years ago. However, 74-year-old Gregory Kie Davis has been linked to the murder and rape of the child just last year.
More than 30 years ago a little girl came out of his house to buy sugar from the neighborhood’s shop. She never returned home. Her small body was found next to a gutter. The 74-year-old was arrested last year thanks to an information that linked him to the case.
The suspect did not refuse to give a sample of genetic material (DNA). The DNA test proved beyond any doubt that Davis had raped the 6-year-old girl.
The 74-year-old mustfully confessed his crimes and was due to appear before the courts on 29 May. However, a trial was cancelled due to the attack he received in the prison. According to his lawyer, Davis suffers from horrible pains and is unable to attend the trial.
“Mr Davis is still recovering from his injuries and only recently managed to stand on his feet,” said the attorney. The trial was eventually scheduled for November 27th.
