A woman from California is accused of beating, drowning her 11-year-old daughter in an attempt to expel her, according to the police. Kimberly Felder, 45, reportedly beat her 11-year-old daughter and put sand in her eyes and mouth at Ferndale Beach in California before a witness tried to stop her.
According to the witness, John Marciel, Felder was trying to expel the demons from her daughter. Then she hit her daughter in the head with a wood and tried again to hold her. Marciel called on the police while trying to keep Felder down so he would not hit her daughter any more. She said her mother was trying to expel her.
According to reports, the incident was seen by about 10-12 people on the beach. Marciel was the first to try to stop the abuse. When the police arrived, a police officer arrested the mother and handcuffed her. Felder was arrested and accused of attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse and chaos.
The 11-year-old was transferred to the hospital with multiple injuries. The police said that if Marciel had not intervened, it is most likely that the girl would be dead. Marciel said he had gone to the beach with his friends when they saw the incident. He said he was happy to be in the right place at the right time to stop the attack.
“The worst was the apathy I saw from passers-by. They watched the incident happening, but nobody did anything. “
