Shots of the movie “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” revealed to a selected audience, offering a first touch at the history of Rey. New footage from the highly anticipated film “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” revealed at the annual general meeting of the Disney shareholders, held in Denver. The scenes reveal what happened just after the end of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which left the audience in suspense. The scenes show Luke’s meeting with Rey, where the first to ask’s who she is, and she responds by giving him his lightsaber.
Other appearances includes Chewbacca, Finn and General Leia in military uniform, but Miller did not mention something more. Nevertheless confirmed that the shots contained various landscapes such as oceans, forests, deserts and mountain ranges. The president and CEO of Walt Disney Co., Bob Iger, described “The Last Jedi” as “a perfect chapter in the iconic family drama of Skywalker”.
He also tributed Carrie Fisher, “she was a typical figure in this series of films from the beginning” adding “We all miss her. She had great talent and spirit. We are proud of the upcoming movie which is part of her heritage. “
