Paul McClean, a 24-year-old Financial Times reporter, died while he was spending his holidays in Sri Lanka washing his hands in a lake and attacked him a crocodile.
As reported by Telegraph, the young man seemed to shake his hands in the air, apparently asking for help before he waslost in the waters.
The reporter had arrived in Sri Lanka for a holiday with some friends and stayed in a hotel near thelake that the tragedy took place.
McClean graduated from Oxford University in 2015 and then recruited to the Financial Times, where he covered major events like Brexit.
“We are speechless. He was a very good kid, Everton’s fanatic, very intelligent. It’s a tragedy, “one of his colleagues said to the newspaper.
