Caitlyn Jenner: This is about getting to be who you really are

Caitlyn Jenner’s TV documentary series “I Am Cait” is set to premiere on July 26.

In its promo, Jenner tells the reason why she is doing the project for which she’s been also rumored to have received $5M from E! who’s producing the show.

“Why did I decide to do a series? I am telling my story…This is about getting to be who you really are.”

Jenner further elaborated on what the public could expect from ‘I Am Cait’: “We’re going to talk about everything. We’re going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We’re going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle–because girls do that too. It’s going to be quite a journey. We’re going to do some good.”

Most of her family members have been very supportive of Jenner’s choice to be a transgendered woman.
Last Father’s Day, her kids proudly greeted Jenner with loving messages.

“My whole life, this soul was my daddy and just because your appearance is different now doesn’t mean you were any less of a father to me my entire life,” Kendall said. “Happy Father’s Day to the person who raised me, and taught me everything I know, my hero.”

Meanwhile, Kylie also posted. “Happy Father’s Day my little light of sunshine,” where she had also quoted Caitlyn’s words: “You can still call me dad, Kylie. No matter what I’m always going to be your father. That’s never going to change.”

Jenner’s been allowing her kids to still call her Dad until the time they are able to fully adjust to their new situation.

Jenner’s former wife, Kris Jenner, had also told Extra, “I think it’s amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy.”
