Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner greeted their transgendered parent, Caitlyn Jenner, this Father’s day.
The teenage sisters posted pictures of their childhood with then Olympic champion Bruce Jenner, who’s made a decision to undergo sex reassignment operation early this year to fulfill a personal dream.
“My whole life, this soul was my daddy and just because your appearance is different now doesn’t mean you were any less of a father to me my entire life,” Kendall said. “Happy Father’s Day to the person who raised me, and taught me everything I know, my hero.”
Meanwhile, Kylie also posted. “Happy Father’s Day my little light of sunshine,” where she had also quoted Caitlyn’s words: “You can still call me dad, Kylie. No matter what I’m always going to be your father. That’s never going to change.”
Khloe Kardashian also displayed a photograph of Caitlyn, before the transition from male into female, where Bruce was with Khloe’s late father, Robert Kardashian.
“Thank you Lord for blessing me with not one phenomenal father but I was lucky enough to have two,” she said. “Happy Father’s Day!!!”
Caitlyn Jenner made her controversial revelation on Vanity Fair, where she appeared as its cover. She opted for a plastic surgery to have a feminine appearance.
Before becoming Caitlyn, Bruce Jenner was under the limelight after winning in the 1976 Summer Olympics, in a men’s decathlon event. He was bestowed with the unofficial title of “world’s greatest athlete” after winning back the glory from Soviet Union athletes during the period of the Cold War.
He married Kris Kardashian with whom Bruce shared 23 years of his life.
After their divorce, Bruce decided it was time for him to pursue what he said was his heart’s true desire. “God gave me the soul of a female.”
